Recess Clothing:
We finally have longer and more sunny days, let's hope they stick around!
With the warmer weather students do not need winter jackets, boots, hats and mittens for recess however it is still cool so a jacket or sweatshirt is still needed.
Team Time:
Our Friday Team Time continues to be a highlight of the week. Students are currently learning about gratitude and how to notice the object, people, place and experiences they have to be grateful for. Last week they started thinking about themselves and what makes each of them unique and special and how to be grateful for themselves and what they offer each other.
Calendar:
March 25th~School Wide Assembly 9:00am
April 5th - Quarter 3 Ends
April 22-26 - Spring Break
Art News:
Did you know you can upload art your child makes at home to artsonia using your parent account? Artsonia has tutorials on how to use this feature on their website and mobile app! If you need help navigating the parent portal on artsonia, they have a great customer service department that can assist you.
If your child is not currently participating in artsonia, and you would like to grant them access, all the information you need is found on the permission slip sent home in your child’s folder (example on right). Your child’s slip is individualized for them with a unique parent code. If you have multiple children, you will need to register your children individually but you will have a single parent login to access them all.
For this school year, we currently have uploaded over 900 works of art! Since Disnard started using artsonia in 2014 there have been over 20,000 works of art uploaded to our school gallery!
